Smallville

Spoilers Page

Welcome to the Spoilers Page where you can read stuff very, well, revealing about the upcoming episodes.

Most Spoilers are thanks to Kryptonsite and TVGuide.

Legion

Calum Worthy will be playing Garth Ranzz/Lightning Lad.

Ryan Kennedy will be playing Rokk Krinn/Cosmic Boy.

In an interview posted on IGN.com, writer Geoff Johns has revealed that we will see Legion flight rings and also makes a reference to the "villain's weapon." No confirmation yet on who that Legion villain will be, but maybe Johns or The CW will eventually be persuaded to spill the beans.
- Johns has revealed that Kristin Kreuk has a "powerful" and "heartfelt" scene and that Allison Mack has some "pretty intense things" to do in the episode.
- Regarding casting: "I love who they have playing the Legion. They look great. I'll talk more about them when they're announced," he says. "But they freaking rock. Legion rings, the villain's weapon -- holy s**t, wait until you see HIM-- "Grife!", they are the Legion."
- Johns seems happy with how the episode is turning out: "I'm actually surprised by how faithful the Legionnaires will be to the comics. It's really faithful to the comic book series. Who they are as people, what they do, it's all in there. Obviously it's going to be a little different because they're just coming back for the first time to meet Clark. They're uniforms are the Smallville versions, not spandex. But I'm really happy with how
faithful the Legionnaires will be to the comics. It's really faithful to the comic book series. Who they are as people, what they do, it's all in there. Obviously it's going to be a little different because they're just coming back for the first time to meet Clark. They're uniforms are the Smallville versions, not spandex. But I'm really happy with how faithful it is. And writing the first live action of the Legion is an honor."

Bulletproof

A Behind the Scenes look at Bulletproof can be found here, but it doesn't look very real, it is most likely the person faked it.

Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has confirmed that the kiss is between Clark and L***. Considering Erica Durance is not in the episode, that pretty much leaves Lana as the only choice - unless Lucy Lane makes a return appearance, or Lori Lemaris swims up.

Clark goes undercover as a cop after [Detective] John Jones is shot, hoping to find out what actually happened. His cop alias is "Joe Fordman," which could be a reference to Whitney Fordman from Season 1.
- The character of police inspector Dan Turpin - who first appeared in Jack Kirby's New Gods comic book series - makes his first Smallville appearance in this episode. Turpin has a 4-year-old son who is emulating the "Red-Blue Blur" that has enthralled Metropolis in recent months. Turpin's cop partner has recently been murdered.
- Oliver has resumed the role of Green Arrow by this point.
- Turpin witnesses Clark talking to the Green Arrow and realizes he is not who he says he is.
- Dr. Emil Hamilton - also a character from comics lore - assists Clark and Oliver to help John Jones and his unique physiology. Note that Dr. STEVEN Hamilton was the "Dr. Hamilton" seen in Smallville's early years. Keep in mind that the presence of Turpin or Dr. Hamilton could be subject to change.
- Cop sentiment over costumed heroes and vigilantes is rather low.
- Lana and Oliver are keeping a secret from Clark.

pOWER

Some Luthorcorp experiments are being done involving Lana. Apparently these experiments are what is keeping her alive.
Dr. Grohl (the scientist from "Arrow" and "Fallout" who was recently seen again in "Instinct") is involved with these experiments, which may also have ties to Project: Ares from previous seasons.
The three series regulars to appear in this episode are Tom Welling (Clark), Allison Mack (Chloe), and Cassidy Freeman (Tess).
There are some revelations about where Lana has been between the Season 7 finale and her return in "Bride."
Only three series regulars (plus Lana) appear in this episode.
This episode is directed by Allison Mack (Chloe).

rEQUIEM

Tom Welling (Clark), Allison Mack (Chloe), and Justin Hartley (Oliver) are the only series regulars in this episode.
This is Kristin Kreuk's final episode as Lana Lang.

Infamous

Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly has indeed confirmed that Lois is the one that does the interview with Clark that "outs" his true heritage as a super-powered alien to the world.

Linda Lake threatens to expose Clark, but Clark decides he's going to reveal the truth about himself - on his own terms - before she gets the chance to.
-
The news media is in a frenzy over the Red-Blue Blur, and they approach Chloe to ask what it's like to be the hero's best friend. They ask what it's been like to keep his secret for so long, which may imply that her memories are returned by this point.
- Jimmy is transported to Metropolis General, and Chloe refers him as her husband.
- A teenage admirer fakes a fall so Clark will rescue her.

Turbulence

"Turbulence" as a title refers to interactions between Clark and Tess on Oliver's jet as well as turbulence associated with Jimmy's return from his coma.
- Tess takes Clark out of town with her to an important press conference in another city.
- Clark tries to find out from Tess how much Lex had actually told her about him.
- Jimmy reacts violently seeing Davis and has an angry outburst towards Chloe.
- Davis visits a cathedral where he confesses that he has hurt people that he cares about.

Hex

This episode puts a spin on the "Chlois theory" as a magic spell turns Chloe into Lois... literally.
- Cassidy Freeman (Tess) and Sam Witwer (Davis) do not appear in this episode.

- The episode's guest is a character named "Cassie" whose father taught her about sorcery before he passed away. We're wondering if "Cassie" might be a substitute name for the DC Comics magician character Zatanna, much like "Melissa" was substituted for "Maxima" in initial leaks. Many Silver Age DC Comic books told the tale of Zatanna looking for her father, Zatara. Interesting trivia: Zatara first appeared in the same comic book that introduced Superman - Action Comics #1!
- Cassie tries to get Oliver to believe in witchcraft, and comes to him for help. Apparently Lex had obtained an item before he disappeared that she would like to obtain. She offers to give Oliver his "deepest desire" if he helps her.

Other Season 8 Spoilers

In the latest issue of SciFi Magazine, executive producer Kelly Souders has revealed some tidbits about things to come (thanks to Cheers at DI who originally brought this online):
- Chloe and Jimmy will "try to manage life" after the wedding but things will not be easy for them.
- Tess's league of super-powered villains will be let loose at some point this season. ("Injustice," anyone?)
- Souders notes that Clark's double identity will face new challenges, and that Oliver and other members of the Justice League haven't had the same struggles with developing their superhero identities, because their first identities aren't lies. For Clark, the transition is harder because Clark Kent, farmboy, is already a mask. She adds that Clark's humanity also gets in the way.
- The producers have planned two different potential arcs to end Season 8, depending on if there is another season. Regardless of when it happens, the final episode will be "either a heroic send-off or a heartbreaking decision for Clark to move on to the next phase." Souders is confident that the show could work for a ninth season. "People have been telling Superman stories for decades, so we have no doubt we can tell stories for another year," she says.
-
Regarding romantic futures for Clark and Lois: "After a near-kiss with Lois, emotions and lust are flying. Their chemistry is charging ful speed ahead, but let's face it, their insecure walls are getting in the way."

In an Interview with Cassidy Freeman from acedmagazine she has said that she will be in a scene with Lex and It won't turn out to good, these were her exact words " I am not in every single episode so they kind of come and go but there is a really great episode with Luthor and Me that I am pretty excited about. I ask him to do some things for me and it does not turn out too well. "
